COATGUARD 624

100% SOLVENT LESS EPOXY PAINT

COATGUARD 624 is a two-component, 100% solvent-less epoxy coating formulated for environments that demand high durability with low environmental impact. With zero solvent evaporation and extremely low VOC, this coating is ideal for indoor applications, confined spaces, and sensitive industrial zones. It creates a tough, chemical-resistant barrier on both concrete and steel substrates.

Application Guide

Surface Preparation:

  • Flooring: Ensure midcoat (Coatguard 114) is fully cured, sanded with #100 grit, and vacuumed to remove dust and debris.

  • Tank Lining: Confirm that primer (Coatguard 110) is dry, clean, and dust-free.

Mixing Instructions:

  • Mix Part A and Part B thoroughly in a 2:1 ratio (or per manufacturer’s specification).

  • Stir until homogeneous using a mechanical stirrer.

  • No thinning required due to solvent-less formulation.

  • Pot life and working time may vary with temperature—apply immediately after mixing.

Application Method:

  • Apply using lint-free roller, natural bristle brush, or airless spray.

  • Apply 2 coats, allowing at least 4 hours recoat interval at 25–30°C.

  • Avoid overlapping or excessive rolling to minimize lap marks and ensure an even finish.

Additional Notes:

  • Ensure all application tools are clean and free of contaminants before use.

  • Maintain proper environmental conditions (temperature and humidity) during application and curing.

  • Clean tools immediately after use with the recommended epoxy cleaner.
