❗LIMITATIONS: Not recommended for concrete less than one month, any unsound substrate, and substrate with moisture content exceeding 3% as per ASTM D4263, non-hardening sealants and caulking, form- release agents containing wax or oil. Silicone-coated surfaces, expansion joint, soluble stains, asphalt surfaces and areas where water seepage exists.

Application Guide

Surface Prep (After Midcoat)

  • Ensure the midcoat (e.g., Coatguard 114) is fully cured, sanded using manual sanding or a polisher/burnisher Grit #100, dry, and free of dust, dirt, and contaminants.

  • Vacuum or mop the surface thoroughly before application.

  • Remove any sharp ridges or debris that could affect flow or finish.

Mixing

  • Mix Part A and Part B as per specifications.

  • Use a slow-speed mechanical mixer to ensure a fully blended, homogeneous mix.

  • Pre-measured kits are designed for direct transfer and mixing:

    • For 1:1 kits, both cans are half-filled — transfer Part B into Part A.

    • For 1:3 kits, the larger can is partially filled to allow full mixing once Part B is added.

Application

  • Pour the mixed material onto the floor in ribbon-like sections.

  • Use a notched trowel or squeegee to spread evenly across the surface.

  • Use a spiked roller immediately after to remove air bubbles and help with leveling.

  • Start from the farthest side of the room and move toward the exit.

  • Mask off baseboards, walls, and other areas to avoid accidental coating.

  • Maintain a wet edge during application to prevent lap marks or dry joints.
